Cybersecurity budgeting, made transparent

SecurityBudget.com exists to make security spending legible. Most people planning a cybersecurity budget are forced to reverse-engineer prices from vendor decks, gated calculators, and sales calls. Our mission is simpler: keep the numbers transparent, vendor-neutral, and free.

Independence

Not affiliated with, sponsored by, or paid by any security vendor or MSSP.

We take no vendor money, run no affiliate links on the tools we benchmark, and accept no payment to move a number. If a figure changes, it changes because the evidence changed.

What makes us different from vendor calculators

Vendor calculators are built to sell. They gate the output, show one company's pricing, and rarely tell you when the numbers were last touched. We do the opposite.

Ungated, always

No email wall, no "book a demo" gate, no lead capture before you see a number. Every model and benchmark is readable in full on first visit.

Multi-source, not one vendor

Figures blend public pricing, published industry benchmarks, framework guidance, and disclosed contract data — never a single vendor pushing its own SKUs.

Dated and versioned

Every estimate carries a last-reviewed date so you can see how fresh it is. Stale prices get flagged and corrected; we publish when figures change.

Neutral by design

We do not sell software, take vendor sponsorships, or earn referral commissions on the tools we benchmark. Independence is the product.
