Privacy Policy

The short version

• The calculator runs in your browser. Employee counts, revenue, endpoints, and every other input you type stay on your device. We never receive or store them.
• Nothing is gated. You never have to give us an email to see a result, a benchmark, or a source.
• Analytics are privacy-friendly and cookieless. We measure aggregate traffic without tracking you across the web.
• We only store what you deliberately send us — a contact message, or a report snapshot you explicitly choose to share.

What we collect

Calculator inputs — not collected

The budget calculator is a client-side application. The numbers and selections you enter are processed in your browser to produce an estimate and are never transmitted to or stored by us. Closing the tab discards them.

Analytics — aggregate and anonymous

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand which pages are useful and how the site performs. This collects aggregate, non-identifying signals such as page paths, referrers, and approximate country. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you.

Contact form — only to reply

If you use a contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. We store these only so we can read and respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list.

Shared-report links — only when you choose

If — and only if — you explicitly choose to share a report, we store a snapshot of that result so the link can render later. We do not create such a snapshot when you simply use the calculator; it happens only when you take the share action.

How we use it

• To operate and improve the site and calculator.
• To respond to messages you send us through a contact form.
• To render shared-report links you have chosen to create.
• To understand aggregate usage and performance via privacy-friendly analytics.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Data retention

• Calculator inputs: never stored, so nothing to retain.
• Contact messages: kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, then deleted on a routine basis.
• Shared-report snapshots: retained to keep the link working; you can ask us to delete a specific shared report.
• Analytics: aggregate metrics only, with no personal identifiers to retain.

Your rights

Because we hold so little personal data, most requests are simple. Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you (realistically, a contact message or a shared-report snapshot), and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us and we will action it promptly.
